We go to Hot Springs annually on vacation and always try to go to Fisherman's Wharf. We always try to sit outside on the lake. While it may not be the very best seafood, I would disagree that it's low quality. Just because Sysco delivers their food, therefore, it must be low quality it would be like saying your grocery store sells Mrs. Paul's Fish Sticks so that's indicative of the quality of all the food they sell
Im positive they are.. Youll enjoy it there
im sure they would this place is awesome us and our girls love this place and visit there everytime we go through. definatly one of the best places to eat and relax and great food and service. if you sit outside you can feed the ducks turtles and fish and geese ofd the pier
Yes sir they do
Yes we do
U can sit down and dine. Tables are 6 feet apart
I'd say its possible in the outside eating area but I'd call ahead and ask.
Yes, fried. They have menu on Facebook page I think.
Hi Rick, we don't take reservations. It's first come, first served.
Yes, dine in was available. Mask is required when walking through restaurant.
Loved eating out on the water side patio, our waitress was great! I would recommend the Mahi mahi, sweet corn and green beans for sure! We did have a bit of a wait, but that is expected during a time like this. The atmosphere, view, food and service were all worth the wait!
Nice atmosphere. Pleasant dine-in experience. Good menu selections and food. Friendly staff. Fair prices.
This place is great! The food and service is excellent.
Ok, where do I start. The appetizers were 100% pre-made frozen Sysco cheese sticks, and fried pickles. I know this because they serve Buckhead meat. Great for the kids, but for the parents paying not so nice. Im assuming you pay for the view here. Being a restaurant owner myself, I couldn't charge these prices for the quality of this food. Service was solid so 2 stars it is. Everything from the appetizers to the sides were all pre-made and frozen. The catfish fish was the only thing that seem to be made fresh. Having a place with this view and seating capacity I thought they would do a little better than bag to plate food.
Ashley provided great service and knowledge of menu items and it was a beautiful day with a nice breeze
Went here for our anniversary. Even with all the new guidelines, it was top notch. Friendly staff, good attention to detail. They have never disappointed.
Entrees were good Service and side dishes were poor.
I went with my family of 6 and as we were leaving this past Saturday a nice gentlemen.... I believe named Jesus (a hostess said his name so i hope it is him) noticed that my dad was about to come across the exit and since he is elderly it can be difficult to walk so Jesus ( Young guy ) quickly came to help with the doors and I think it is the little things about restaurants that say the most. Great food and great staff but definitely thankful for kindness of the young guy!
Fantastic experience. They took plenty of precautions for social distancing. It's a large enough facility so everyone could spread out. We were treated to a table right on the lake where the geese and turtles kept asking for food. Started with the breaded gator. It was perfectly spiced and cooked. I had the fried catfish. It was more than enough. Definitely got $20 worth of food. In the middle of dinner a light rain came through and left a wonderful double rainbow behind. The view from our table was magnificent Isee photo). Well worth the expense for such a nice experience.
Great service. Great food. Both the Stuffed Flounder and Grouper Oscar were delicious.
Wonderful place to Eat and services are great recommendations for anyone who enjoys eating on the lake front the food is great maybe a little wait but it's well worth it have a nice drink while you wait
Best grouper sandwich for the taste, size of the portion, and price. Service is usually good. Outside seating in wonderful (at the right time of the year). Our #1 stop in Hot Springs.
Amazing experience!! And the food? Out of this world, was delicious!!
We were in town to visit Hot Springs NP and wanted a nice meal before we left. I had the grilled grouper fish tacos with bang bang sauce and it was great! Three nicely sized freshly made fish tacos full of fish and veggies. You also get a choice of two sides so I had the red potatoes and steamed broccoli. Everything was fresh and tasted fantastic. Would definitely recommend.
Not a very good seafood place. I've had much better at a long John silvers
Had the Grouper Oscar with hush puppies and mango coleslaw. Very yummy! Popular place, it seemed...and we know why! Nice outdoor seating on the lake!
Decent wait to get a table but food was very well prepared.....I'll definitely be back !
Had a excellent dinner and our server Sarah absolutely helped make the experience perfect.
Beautiful day to sit outside. A bit of a wait due to the crowd and the food was slow to come out and then some warm and some starting to get cold. That makes it hard to justify the higher prices. If the price point was 50% less, more stars. I've eaten here many times and it has been much better and not any worse. Food ordered included fried fish, shrimp, and bacon wrapped shrimp. Would have gotten the fried pickles but they were out. The fried cheese as a substitute was cold and not throughly cooked. The server was stressed and when we got up to refill out tea ourselves, explained she was super busy. Seems hit or miss.
Excellent food. Hubby had the Trigger Fish with sides of black eyed peas and hush puppies. I had the Crab Stuffed Founder with sides of broiled red potatoes and a spring salad with feta vinaigrette dressing. All was very tasty but I have to say don't miss out on that Trigger Fish! We spent about $55 for meal and tip.Our server, Hannah was fantastic. Perfectly prompt but never over attentive. The views are so nice out over the late and the do offer outside seeing if you like. The reason I dropped a start was the host staff. Several teenagers that couldn't care less about where they were out what they were doing. They are the first impression I got. Thankfully the rest of our visit there was completely different from them.
Grouper was tasty but from there it was downhill. Told our wait would be 20 minutes and it was 45 min wait for table of two. They were not serving soup currently. They were also out of certain salad dressings. They do not offer sweet tea and on their sides you will not have that many options. Hush puppies were dry and flavorless. They will not substitute anything on the platters even if you have an allergy or you are willing to pay an up charge. I even spoke to the manager and she couldn’t change anything. It just seemed like customer satisfaction was not high on this restaurant’s list. I would order the grouper to go and skip the inside dining. Also out of the restaurants that we visited this weekend they were the most stressed out place. I’m not for sure if it was the guidelines or what but it just wasn’t the inviting atmosphere from the past. .
We have just moved here and found this on google. Glad I did. It was just wonderful. Early on a Thursday afternoon and food was hot and so good. I had stuffed flounder, melt in your mouth. Red potatoes served in butter😍 My husband had the shrimp skewers, grouper and stuffed shrimp, he is hard to please. But no complaints from him🎉👏 Plus you had his all time favorite bang, bang shrimp. Had to write this to praise your staff for the hard work in these trying times.
Delicious food, even for people that dont like seafood. Great service. And great social distancing rules!
Best seafood in HotSprings! So delicious!
Compares well to seafood in New Orleans. Fair prices, big deck, several draught beers, and good service. The seafood platters are obviously the right way to go but I personally had the (norwegian) salmon and it was one of the best I've ever had - they serve it with two different sauces on the side and using either would be criminal. On the platter, I love that they use calamari essentially in place of fries as a base layer. However, I don't think that the fried grouper we were served as part of the platter was actually grouper. Distributors mislabeling fish is very common and not something the restaurant would be aware of. I've been able to eat a lot of delicious locally sourced grouper on the florida panhandle and this was different, though still tasty. Just something for management to look into since the salmon demonstrates that they take their fish very seriously.
The grilled fish I had was overcooked and small comparable to what I have had in the past. And as usual the service was substandard
EXCELLENT Grouper and Sea Bass and Fried Pickles! I truly enjoyed the food, but the butter kind of made us ill that night! Other than that they would have gotten 5 Stars. Oh and everyone one was extremely nice that were employed there. The locals eating there....not so much. But the staff gets high honors!
Can't say I was impressed. After waiting nearly an hour outside (due to COVID) , we were finally seated, guess where? OUTSIDE. It was unpleasantly muggy, but ok. Then my grandson found a long hair in his food. YUK! Their answer was to replace the food. Who has an appetite after finding hair in their food? Anyway, my experience was not good. The one shining star was that the mixed drink I had was excellent..
Probably the best place to eat in Hot Springs... Great Food, Great Service... I actually ate at this place 2X in 2 days on my last visit... Its Spectacular...
Ate outside very nice view of lake food and service was good
Fried catfish and Crab Legs were amazing. The location is a bit hard to find, it sits off the road and the building is below the parking lot if that makes any sense. Definitely a hidden Gem for seafood. Everywhere you sit has a nice view of the lake. I saw this place listed as a bar but this much more. I would actually label it as a restaurant that also has a bar.
Amazing! Worth the drive from Little Rock!! Crab cake sandwiches and the grilled grouper were out of this world!!
Outstanding service and great food. Will definitely go back!
Can I give 7 stars?... After a bad experience in a different restaurant the day before Fisherman's Wharf was on the opposite side of the chart. I was SATISFIED after leaving the place. The food, the service, the whole experience and the view oh my... If you are looking for seafood don't think it twise this is IT. If they dont answer when you call to make reservations don't worry probably they are busy just show up. You can eat inside and outside they are limited in how many people they let in due to the pandemic. We waited like 20 to 30 min for a table and my if it was worth it. What are you waiting for.. GO!
Excellent food! Thankful for the spaced out seating outside. My boys enjoyed feeding the birds, turtles, and fish in the water.
This is our favorite restaurant and we don't even live here. We found it on a visit about 7 or 8years ago on my birthday. A guy at a local store suggested it. We have been coming to Fisherman's wharf ever since. We have never had bad service it has always been excellent. Our food is always fabulous. We sometimes stop here before we even check in at our hotel. We make a point of eating here at least twice during our stay. I love the grilled grouper salad, SUPER YUM!!!! and my husband has tried a great deal of the menu. Yesterday I had my usual and he had the lunch grilled grouper plate . He enjoyed it so much. They have amazing desserts, too. I can't wait to come back to hot springs to enjoy our favorite restaurant again!!!
Not as good of food as the reviews make it out to be. Great service and really pretty location on the lake.
Great food and atmosphere!! The grilled grouper is great ! Wish they had sweet iced tea but us southerners can't have it all,lol
Great view. Great service. At the time they were out of a few menu items . A little disappointed in high price for what was "ok" good
Do not eat here! My wife found not one but two hairs in her food, both me and my sons plate were missing a side ,(which we never received) I ordered the blackened grouper and I am pretty dang sure it was catfish which I only ate 2 bites because of how much it tasted like catfish! I've eaten plenty of both to know the difference. I also had a dozen oysters that I couldn't finish because I had one that tasted rancid. And they were generous enough to take a whole $4.99 off of my bill! Thanks
This place was amazing. The food was great! We did have a wait time, but it was so worth it. Kyle was our server and he was so nice and well informed on the menu. They take your temperature at the door, everyone has to wear a mask
It took a long time to get our food, but it was delicious. The bacon wrapped stuff shrimp is great!
Great Experience!! This was our second time to eat there. Great service and fun eating over the water!!
NOT allowing take out orders now that Arkansas has allowed limited dine in. I’m NOT dining in, and when I do, I will remember who acted responsibly and who did NOT. Do you have evolved from TAKE OUT ONLY to NO TAKE OUT. I have always been able to order takeout. Now you are trying to force people to do it your way. In family friendly terms, NO THANKS.
Loved sitting outside near the lake and seeing the ducks, geese, turtles, fish and boats! That was a plus! The food was way overpriced for what we got. 😕 left disappointed.
We had great food and service plus a blessed view of the water
I’m being generous with two stars and that’s because our server was sweet. Got there @ 7:15 for 2 on Saturday evening was told 45 minutes. After an hour asked and they said 15 more minutes. Ok. After 15 minutes I ck again they say 15 minutes more. So @ 8:50 were called. There were 4 teenagers hostesses we continue to stand there as they chit chat I have to interrupt so we can be seated. Now my expression not good. Order our food. I got crab stuffed shrimp which you can tell it’s something I could get at Sams club. Hush puppies are again frozen and dry when cooked husband got breaded shrimp like I buy at grocery store So there you have it. Would not recommend nor go back
Some of the best gumbo I've ever eaten and the bacon wrapped stuffed shrimp and crab is awsome
As we were leaving Hot Springs to head back home we stopped here and ate under the covered patio. Huge thunderstorms came in and the employees ran to get the metal shutters down. Great food and waiter did a perfect job. Will go back again!
I don’t know if the food was good because it was so cold when it arrived that we immediately asked for boxes to take home and microwave later (both appetizer and entrees). Our waitress shouldn’t be on the floor. She apologized every time she came to our table, and the waiter at a nearby table made 7 trips outside for every one of hers. Don’t apologize; just make it right. Customers don’t care about excuses. We just want to eat a good meal and leave. The service was terrible; I went inside and had a busboy fill my drink after asking my waitress three times for a refill. $100 later, we went home and made sandwiches for us and the girls. Note, this could have been simply a service issue, and the table near ours may give this establishment rave reviews. I won’t ever know.
